Well I'm down to a Kubota 2910 or JD 2910 to tell you the truth I like both of them. I quess its going to come down to the little things. Does Kubota have anything like the iMatch system that JD offers? What about the steering rods any big deal if they are in front of the front axle. So its things like this I need help with. Thanks.......

I would not be concerned with tie rods in front of the axle.
I think you are just as likely to damage a tie rod by backing over something as you are going forward. Maybe more so because going forward at least you can see it coming.
Going backward while turning you might not see it coming. ....

Tie rods on some tractors used to be under the axle in both the front and rear. When they are like that it is time to worry. If they are in front of the axle and above they don't seem to be nearly the problem and actually need very little done to maintain. ....
